Orders and payment
Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we email your confirmation, and a contract is formed when we ship. Payment is taken in full at checkout, in US dollars, through Stripe. We may decline or cancel an order — for example when an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or a payment cannot be verified — and if we do, you are refunded in full.
Prices are shown before sales tax. Tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown before you pay. If a price on the site is plainly wrong, we will tell you before charging the correct one, and you may cancel.
Shipping
We ship within the United States. Orders over $200 ship free; smaller orders pay a flat $15. We pack glass ourselves and email you a tracking number when your parcel leaves. Delivery dates shown by the carrier are estimates; we are not responsible for carrier delays, but we will always help you chase a parcel. Please make sure your address is complete — a parcel returned to us for a bad address is re-shipped at your cost.
Final sale
Because our ornaments are glass and seasonal, all sales are final: we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, and we cannot refund an order once it has shipped. Please look at the photographs, the descriptions and your Tree Builder preview carefully before you order, and email us with any question first — we are glad to help.
Breakage and damage
Glass sometimes loses to the postal service. If any piece arrives broken, chipped or damaged, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the piece and the box. We will send a replacement free of charge; if a replacement is sold out, we will refund that piece. Please keep the damaged item and packaging until we have replied, in case the carrier asks for them. Damage reported after 7 days, or caused after delivery, is not covered.
Missing or wrong items
If something is missing from your parcel or is not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will put it right at no cost to you.
Our products
Pieces are hand-finished glass and textiles; small variations in colour, pattern and finish are part of what makes them. Photos are as true as we can make them, but screens differ and what you receive may not match the image exactly. Our ornaments are decorations, not toys: they are fragile, may have small parts and wire hooks, and should be kept away from young children and pets.
The Tree Builder
The Tree Builder is a visualisation to help you plan. It shows our pieces on a model tree, and the quantities it suggests are estimates based on the height, shape and coverage you choose. Your own tree, the way you hang things and the lights you use will change the result. The pieces it lists are what we sell; the picture is not a promise of how your tree will look. Prices shown in the builder are confirmed at checkout.
Your account, cart and shared designs
Your cart and designs are stored in your browser, so they can be lost if you clear your browsing data. A shared design link contains only the settings of the tree (collection, height, coverage and so on), never personal information.
Intellectual property
The Kelsey Road name, logo, photographs, text, 3D models and the Tree Builder are ours or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links and product images to talk about our products; you may not copy the site or its content for commercial use without our written permission.
Promotions and the newsletter
Discount codes, when we offer them, apply only as described in the offer, cannot be combined unless we say so, and may be withdrawn at any time. Joining “Letters from Kelsey Road” is optional and you can unsubscribe with one click.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived, including your rights under California consumer protection law.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Most problems are solved with an email, so please write to us first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, and you agree to that venue.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one on this page when you place your order. See also our Privacy Policy and FAQ.
